GMC recently took home a fourth consecutive Most Refined Brand award from Kelley Blue Book, and the American luxury automaker isn’t about to rest on its laurels. The 2018 GMC Yukon Denali has yet to arrive, but it certainly looks like it will blow consumers away in more ways than one.
The GMC Yukon Denali brings refinement to the road for another model year, starting with a new grille. The old grille featured a flat design with square holes. Its replacement is nearly the exact opposite, with thick and thinner edges, automatic shutters, and more. The 2018 Yukon Denali now looks more similar to the Terrain and Acadia.
Fortunately, looks are not all the 2018 GMC Yukon Denali brings to the road. The standard 6.2-liter V8 engine delivers a healthy 420 horsepower and 460 lb-ft of torque. That isn’t even the big news, though.
The 2018 Yukon Denali will become the third GM vehicle to feature the 10-speed automatic transmission. Fuel economy numbers aren’t out just yet, but the new transmission should offer better efficiency than the outgoing eight-speed transmission.
“Mastique Ash real wood” now adorns the cabin and serves as the only interior change in the upcoming Yukon Denali. After all, it’s hard to improve on perfection.
